Zip air vs Air Canada
The trip consisted of Zip air going to Japan and the return trip by Air Canada. Zip air had good seat and wifi is free, but food has to be paid while Air Canada has the full service.

The cash price for the hotel is ranging from 600 to over 1000 euros, points are about 71k/night, I used Marriott night certificates for 2 night stay. Breakfast is great!
EQ bank card euro withdrawal in Portugal
Portugal banks have an interbank network called MB(MultiBanco). Using EQ bank card to withdraw cash from MB ATM has no fees and good exchange rates. Per Mastercard web site, the exchange rates on Apr.26,27 were 1.4694,1.4688. Avoid using Euronet ATMs!

HSBC Canada will exit Canadian market by end of March, 2024. It gives its Jade (or private client service) clients a farewell gift!
