Loading Suica or Pasmo using HSBC Canadian travel credit card

 If you have an iPhone, you can add digital Suica or Pasmo card to your iPhone or Apple Watch as a transit card. Unfortunately, Android phones, unless bought in Japan, won't work.

If you have Canadian HSBC travel credit card, loading money to Suica or Pasmo card by HSBC credit card using Apple Pay counts as travel expenses, hence there is a 3% cash back. 

Adding Suica or Pasmo to your iPhone is easy, in your iPhone wallet, touch plus sign on the right top corner, choosing Transit card, scrolling down to Japan, choose Suica or Pasmo, then agree the terms and add money using Apple Pay. Then you are all good to go!
